Project description
The BMW E36 already had a phenomenal presence, but RaceBox wanted to add the final layer - a custom livery that would fully reflect the character of the car and strengthen the team’s visual identity.
The design was developed around the existing RaceBox branding, expanding it into a more expressive and performance-oriented visual language. Our goal was to create a modern motorsport identity while preserving the unmistakable spirit and strong retro character of the BMW E36.
A deep metallic red in gloss became the dominant colour of the composition. It was contrasted with dark metallic grey and clean white graphic elements, creating a bold visual structure that follows the shape of the bodywork and emphasizes the wide Flossmann GTR proportions.
Sharp lines, layered forms and dynamic transitions give the car a more aggressive racing presence while keeping the overall design clean, balanced and recognizable. The graphics were carefully arranged around the extended fenders, aerodynamic elements and characteristic silhouette of the E36 to ensure that the livery works consistently from every angle.
The project was not limited to the car. We also created a matching driver racing suit design, transferring the same colours, graphic language and RaceBox identity into the driver’s equipment.
The result is a complete and cohesive motorsport branding concept — connecting the vehicle, driver and team through one consistent visual direction.
A modern-retro project created for a car that every motorsport enthusiast would be happy to have in their garage.
